The vineyards of Chateau Haut Musiel were purchased in 2002 by Jean-Pierre and Marie-Caroline Vanderpol, fulfilling a long time dream. Their daughter, Marie Popelin and her husband Jean Marie left Paris to manage the vineyard. While both have completed professional training in oenology, Marie also brings her experience in the perfume industry and Jean Marie his education and experience in environmental engineering. As they bought only vines, they renovate an ancient cellar in the center of the village, build an office, a winery, recruite a team, create their own trade mark, and above all, make their own wine.
